Njp to Alipurduar Vistadome Coach Facilities- Lets check out the swashbuckling Vistadome train which is one of the luxurious coaches in Indian railways. There are many trains with Vistadome Coaches that runs in India, but today we will talk about the Tourist Special Train from New Jalpaiguri to New Alipurduar Junction.
This train has two Vistadome Coaches one in front and the other one at the back. This tourist train is suitable for visitors visiting the Dooars for Gorumara or Jaldapara National Park.
For Gorumara visitors can de board at Chalsa Station from there you have to take a taxi… As it is quite difficult to get a taxi from this station it is advisable to book the taxi in advance either from the hotel or from any taxi vendor etc. For Jaldapara, visitors can de board at Madari Hat Station.
There are two more classes in the Tourist Special Train one is AC chair car and the other one is General Sitting.. But if you want to enjoy soulful journey of the mountains and forest then we recommend the Vistadome Coach. It is quite expensive in terms of the other classes but the journey was really awesome.
Facilities
The icing on the cake is the Observation lounge which is located at the end of the coach from where you can view great scenery’s from the rear end of the train.
There are LED Screens in the train which gives you information not only about the approaching station but also shows you the importance of the place.
Tray table facility is given in the arm rest which gives you ample space in the front.
Bottle holder and leg rest facility is also provided
CCTV’s are installed in the coaches .
The seats can rotate 360 degree, because of this passenger can move their seats at any direction. Also mobile phone charging facility is available with each seat at the bottom.
The restroom are quite clean and nice
