The Wat Chalong Temple Phuket is around 9 km from Phuket town in Thailand. It is major attraction here.
The guide told us to visit the Karon Beach which is on the way After the magnificent we went towards the temple. Parking facility is quite good here. The temple opening and closing timings are 7am to 5 pm.
There is a strict dress code in place The dress should cover the shoulders and should be at least knee length
These 3 statues are of the famous monks of the Wat Chalong Temple. It is still not clear about the establishment of this temple but according to some sources it was made in 1837
This is Grand Pagoda which has a height of 60m contains a fragment of Lord Buddha’s bone. This place is considered as the most sacred place in this complex It has three floors and each floor has Golden Buddha statues
In Thailand it is forbidden to wear shoes inside any temple. The temple complex has lots of greenery which really pleases your mind and heart
