Disneyland California Timings
Disneyland California opens from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. We reached there at 7:45 am. It is better to reach as early as possible as the crowd keeps on increasing. At present Disneyland has 52 attractions with 49 rides and it is almost impossible to explore every attraction and ride in one day. So be there as early as possible to explore as much as you can.
As more and more crowd keep coming in there is a waiting period in everyride. Some waiting goes more then 1.5 hours also. So to keep that in check you can also take the Disney Genie plus service which is at an additional cost. Disney Genie+ service lets you use Lightning Lane entrances at select attractions. After security check we entered Disneyland Park. At entrance we saw the beautiful Disney Monorail.
There are mainly four themelands here like Fantasyland, Tommorowland, Adventureland, and Frontierland and you can visit every theme land individually. But as per my personal experience rather than going from one theme park to another and wasting precious time its better to explore the rides which first comes on your sight and has less crowd.
Exploring Disneyland Rides
We first explored the King Arthur Carrousel which refreshed our childhood memories. After that we explored dumbo the flying elephant ride which was also great.
Me and family enjoyed the most in Mad Tea Party Ride.
The most popular attraction in Disneyland is the Disney Rail Road which should not be missed. This train comes in every 5 to 10 min.
You can travel the whole disneyland by this train. In this wonderful ride you will witness artificial American Rivers, Grand Canyon theme and Dinosaur life with the help of Audio-Animatronics. After Rail Road ride we explore the children’s most popular ride its a small world where you will witness an amazing toy world which you have always dreamt of in your childhood.
How to meet mickey in disneyland
After this we checked out Mickey’s Toon Town where you will find many attractions of Mickey and Minnie. The most popular attraction here is the Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway which is a must visit. After that we went to Mickey’s House which was designed in such a way as if Mickey actually stays there. We enjoyed the Mickey Mouse Cartoon there after that we met Mickey.
If you love roller coaster ride then you can try Chip n Dale Gadget Coaster and Matterhorn Bobsleds ride.
There are many boating activites too first we explored the Storybook Land Canal Boats which was great. After that we tried the huge Sailing Ship Columbia which cruises around Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, where visitors relive the pioneering adventures of the original Columbia.
We also explored the gun shooting game here but it was a paid service.
Visitor can also explore the Gift shop where they can shop Disney Toys, T shirts, memorabilia etc for themself and their loved ones.
In afternoon we felt hungry so we checked on to the restaurants here. There are many cafe’s and in-dining restaurants in the park.
After that we checked the Star Tour which took us to a space mission. After that we explored Astro Blaster. This is a ride cum video game where we have to shoot the demons by sitting in our ride.
If you are a theatre lover then do check The Royal Theatre and Fantasyland Theatre which really mesmerised the visitors.
For horror fanatics check out the Haunted Mansion which was a great ride to experience. Also check out the Pirate’s Of The Caribbean Ride which shows the life of the Pirates.
After that we explored the Finding Nemo Submarine which shows us the disneyworld inside water where you will find Nemo, Dory and Marlin. The children were too excited after exploring this ride.
In dinner we had Chicken and Salmon Fish with rice and beans which was great.
In the morning we saw beautiful disney vehicles which transports visitors from one place to another in Disneyland.
So we tried that too at night and believe me it was great. Also at night the Disneyland Park looks completly astonishing.
The popular Disneyland Fantasy Parade happens twice, ones at day time 3:00 pm and one in the evening around 5:30 pm. Do not miss it.(Do check disneyland timings on their website as they may change the timings)
The last main attraction was the Disneyland Fireworks which stunned the visitors as it was combined with mesmerised disney animation and music.
This should not be missed at any cost. This happens between 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm (Do check Disney website to know more).
