Fancy Bazaar Guwahati – We commenced our journey to Assam’s Fancy Bazaar in Guwahati which is one of the best shopping places.
Our journey began with Brahmaputra Rope way which is India’s longest river rope way.
On cable car we travelled till Kasari Ghat
After reaching Kasari Ghat we enjoyed fruit juice which was delicious. It was an unique experience to watch Brahmaputra river from so close
After spending some time there we started walking towards the ferry. The ferries are available here after every half an hour.
The rates of ferry were also very nominal.
You can find passengers taking their bikes, cycle and scooter on the ferry. After a while our ferry departed.
The ferry ride was a wonderful experience over river Brahmaputra. After 15-20 minutes we reached our destination point.
Fancy Bazar is around 400 meters from the ferry point were we de boarded.
After de boarding we enjoyed fresh sugarcane juice. You can visit the flower market which starts just before the Fancy bazaar.
